January 27th

Today we leaned the way how to do presentation by using google document.

I thought it is very useful, because we can share these presentation with many people on the sites and so on.

However, I got used to use power point to make presentation, so it was quite difficult for me to use different tool.

And I also leaned how to use Quick Time player.
It is very useful, I will use and apply this to do other work.

January 25th.

It is great that Rab is back now from London with cookies..;)
Today we searched the Wager's background and Rab explained the wager's theory.
When I first read his theory it seemed quite difficult for me, but after Rab's explanation I think I understand clearly.
Next time I will try to understand the theory by myself.

Today we discussed Genetic Engineering.
I know it is immoral that to clone human beings, but if I were mother of the child who have serious disease and the only way to save her was to clone the another child by her gene I would make clone my child.
I think if people would not care if it is against ethics or not when their kids' life are in danger.
It was quite interesting to think about these things.

Ken's class

Today we watched the video about how to make good presentation called by using the concept of 'ZEN'.
At first, I was wondering how to apply the concept of ZEN to the presentation.
However this video was very useful to create a good presentation.
For example, this video told that the presentation should be simple and taught us how to make good design for the presentation.
I will do my best to make good presentation by using what I learned by this video.

Chris's Class

Today we prepared for PWT on Friday.
We have two possible topics.One is about brain death and the other is about designer baby.
For the first question I would answer that I will choose to donate my organs only after I died from heart failure.
And for the second question I would answer I will not genetically enhance my baby.
This class was very meaningful to prepare for PWT.

Steve's CLASS

It was very nice to see Steve again.
Today we leaned writing skills; unity and parallelism.
We compared 3 paragraphs which only one of them have unity.
We have learned these things in spring and autumn term,but I already forget many things.
It was very useful to review these things to write good essay.

my topic!!

Hello everybody in section BC.
As you guys know, I am in the hospital now for taking operation to get rid of hernia.
I　have to be in the hospital for about 1week, but if you are interested in my topic please let me know and let's do group project together!!

I am interested in refugees in this world and Odaka Sadako.
I want to focus on what Japan is doing for those refugees and what we should do for these refygees;
I also want to research what Japanese government do for refugees.
This problem is strongly connect to the future of this world.
